I’m sorry, but this whole situation is fucking trash.
The King. The UK government. The institution. The optics are all trash.
We’re talking about a British Army veteran, the founder and patron of the Invictus Games, saying he won’t bring his wife and children to the UK because of security concerns.
Think about that.
Veterans deserve better than this. The founder of the Invictus Games deserves better than this.
Next year, the UK is set to host the Invictus Games. Every host nation has a responsibility to provide a safe environment for the Games and everyone attending. Yet the conversation surrounding the founder’s own family’s security has become a story in itself.
That’s not something to celebrate. It’s an embarrassment.
And don’t tell me this reflects well on the King, the government, or the institution because, in my opinion, it doesn’t. It reflects like shit.
The whole world is watching this play out, and the message isn’t one of strength. It’s dysfunction. That’s fucking trash.
@Mikeedakid1 He sat in a bunker playing games. He has been syphoning money from Invictus so the wife can spend hundreds thousand dollars on clothes etc. He didnt create Invictus, the Royal Foundation did. He made queen and Phillip's last days absolute hell! Wife would never come to uk
@ClarksonsFarm1 Don't laugh but after driving fords, bmws, jags and fiat's, my favourite is my 2016 toyota Aygo. No breakdowns, extremely economical, comfortable. Had it 8 years and will be keeping it forever!
@Fibutton Gus is utterly adorable 😍. Weekend of knitting in the garden under large parasol and meal out tonight to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary tonight. Have a fabulous weekend ❤️

It’s true, an Elephant never forgets 🐘.
This is Darrick Thompson. He left his career as a Toronto firefighter to devote his life to caring for Elephants at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand with Lek Chailert. He had to leave them for 14 months due to a family emergency. He couldn't have expected this upon returning.
