@LuxWade@lackmeftwich806@Juz_10 By allowing it to be interpreted as gray area case by case basis you then open up a can of worms and that’s what questions the integrity of the games moving forward. That’s why every sports league makes it clear this is not something they can tolerate.
@LuxWade@lackmeftwich806@Juz_10 It isn’t about whether his actions affected the integrity of the games he bet on. It’s that players betting on games of which their team is involved is a completely black-and-white issue that is to be zero tolerance.
@Juz_10 Drug and alcohol addicts don’t put into question the integrity of their respective sports. Gamblers who have bet on their own teams of which they participate on do. That’s the difference.
@chifanpatt2 It’s also driving me insane watching other teams get so many infield hits and bloopers every single game seemingly. At the end of the day they need guys who can miss bats, but it feels like they’ve also been extremely unlucky when inducing weak contact lately.
@FullCountTommy Doesn’t make this current stretch any less frustrating, but if you told anyone before the year started that on May 26th the Cubs would be four games over .500 after enduring all of the injuries they have to this point I think most would feel like that’s a fair outcome.
RED BILL SUNDAY! Giving away a beautiful Chicago Cubs Red Bill for every run the Cubs score today.

@stanverrett Watched plenty. He’s no doubt one of the best quarterbacks of all time. But those other two guys you mentioned with him are legitimate unicorns in their respective sports, showcasing abilities that have never been seen ever. Just don’t think that is applicable to Mahomes.
@chifanpatt2 Yes and no. While I certainly don’t expect him to be shut down every start, sure would be nice if the Cubs best players would show up for a series against the number one threat in the division.
@TheBlogfines For the life of me I cannot get over how conservative the Reds were with their challenges the entire series. Felt like multiple times in the 9th/extras the last few days they let the Cubs off the hook when they didn’t challenge pretty obvious misses. Not complaining though.
@BillTZimmerman Heaven forbid they get some extra insurance when their Center they had just signed the previous off-season suddenly retired out of nowhere………….
