The ppl in the #Joker universe were thrilled by his violent & dramatic antics in the 1st film and in #JokerFolieADeux there's a crowd who loved Joker and didnt care about Arthur Fleck. They wanted Joker to be Joker.
It is basically the same out here with the audience reaction.
I've been processing #JokerFolieADeux. It's kind of brilliant, but has too many avant garde choices and I am not surprised they lost the general audience.
Hoping to share analysis later, but I think it was abt the Q of Arthur or Joker, and abt ppl setting off more than intended.

Fun fact: While in BvS & Excalibur the good guy thrusts his impaled body forward in order to kill the bad guy, in Le Morte D'Artur (1470) it is Arthur who impales Mordred with a spear & Mordred who thrusts himself forward on the spear to kill Arthur w/his sword.

@SupesBatsy Does the new Kent farm house look like past versions? No.
Is it a bad version? We won't know until we see #Superman next year.
Is it realistic for a Kansas farm family with just one kid? Yes.
Is it fair for some ppl to simply not like the look of it? Yes.
Amazing visit to the @Superman set - the movie looks incredible. Big thanks to DC and @JamesGunn. Metropolis is in terrific hands. Great hanging out with all these incredible people!
Also, I'm not a professional photographer, but when I frame shots I try not to put a board or background object right through the head of my subject.
I'm still excited for #Superman and I always try to give a fair chance to every new creative team.
But this first look is not great. Too nonchalant with a serious threat in the background. Too bunchy around the shoulders. And oh the trunks (can't really see them here, but dang).
