@Wrexham_AFC Here's a crude illustration of a potential fourth kit. @VancityReynolds this can be yours for the low, low price of just $9742.63, Canadian or US, dealer's choice.
It feels like the @Chiefs are trying to avoid the Super Bowl hangover with the classic misguided strategy of just staying drunk. They have a WR racing, crashing, fleeing and assaulting, and their kicker is spouting sexist drivel in a commencement speech. Heavy lies the crown?
The @NFL is right to consider changing the touchback rule for fumbles out of the end zone, but there should be some penalty for being careless at the goal line. Maybe make it a "touchback" for the offense and they get the ball at the 20 with whatever down/distance that creates.
I don't get how a bigger deal isn't being made about the @Buccaneers giving up and declining a chance to get the ball. Bowles just assumed the Lions would make the field goal in a game where his kicker already missed. Doesn't sit right with me, even if I'm glad Detroit won.
I'd fire Bowles on the spot if I owned the Bucs. They could have missed and given up the ball near midfield with 30 seconds left. Or they could have blocked the kick and returned it for the tying score. It's not like they were already down multiple possessions.
My biggest pet peeve in writing is "an historic." Unless you are pronouncing it with a silent H like "istoric" then that's just wrong. Try saying "an historic" out loud. It just sounds wrong.
@JeffKerrCBS Good stuff in this article, but I just have to say Goff was not the centerpiece of that return for the Lions. The Rams reportedly included an extra first-round pick to get the Lions to take on his contract. It definitely worked out well though.
The City of Laredo put out a release today about taking care of pets during cold weather and how it is a misdemeanor not too, which is great, but I implore @cityoflaredo to actively enforce those laws next week during the freezing temperatures. Seek out violators.
Why did the Colts burn a timeout? They could have had a chance to get the ball back with about 40 seconds left if they still had all three. Poor coaching.
Hey @VancityReynolds any interest in tackling the auto insurance industry next? @johnkrasinski and @esurance used to feel like @Mintmobile but they are jacking up costs like crazy lately.
Screw anyone still setting off fireworks at 2 a.m. It's bad enough having to deal with it at all, but anything past 12:30 a.m. is just obnoxious. My dog has been shaking with anxiety for hours despite being constantly held and turning the TV up loud, and there's no end in sight.
Lol. At least you can't accuse them of fixing the game since it went both ways, but that has to be in contention for the worst final 2 minute officiating ever.
I am so sick of being ashamed of our city and our culture seeing this happen. Also, the @cityoflaredo needs to do something about it. Why are people never caught and punished for animal cruelty in situations like this? Check some security footage and find them.
Stefanski has done well as a head coach to keep the @Browns competitive amid a rash of injuries, but he is a horrendous play caller. Next season they need to insist he gives that up.
