@MonteMcNaughton@MarkJCarney 1. Fair but this government in particular has an abysmal record with tech they can't be trusted to deliver.
2. Anything they come up with will be immediately circumvented, kids are smarter and more tech savvy than geriatric politicians that don't even know how social media works
@TanDhesi@Telegraph Ok than everyone gets to carry one and wear whatever head gear they want to wear in any place you want to carry a kirpan or wear a turban. Equality should be a simple concept for such a selfless, sacrificing group to understand.
@RealAndyLeeShow Holy fuck, it's a tunnel!!! If you can't figure out that the stairs that seem to be leading up with all of the natural light and fresh air streaming into it, might be the way out, I'm not sure pictures of animals are going to be much help.
@DLeBlancNB Neat, so nothing for most working class Canadians, a pittance for the few that qualify and thousands in raises for you? How very on brand for this government.
@UziCryptoo 1. You can't tax wealth without hurting the working class.
2. The largest holders of institutional wealth are public sector pension funds
3. The US Government spends 500 million a day in improper payments. The Government needs to fix the waste before asking for more money.
@MarkJCarney@VectorInst So what percentage of ownership do Canadians get in these AI institutions? Usually investments of this size garner some sort of ownership stake? Why isn't this being invested in by your sovereign wealth fund?
@SCMountainGoat You should be congratulating California law makers for solving their housing, spending, drug, crime, infrastructure, fire, traffic and affordability issues. Clearly they must have already solved all of those things if tire efficiency rules are a priority.
@TrendPolCa@MarkJCarney So once again Pierre and the Conservatives were correct? If Carney is supposed to be such an excellent economist why didn't he acknowledge this when several supposedly less qualified people were ringing the alarm bells?
@RobCerjanec Who do you suggest? The NDP and Liberals are the main reason Canadians are struggling, and all you did while seated was complain. Can we stop pretending that MPP's actually serve a purpose?
@Boenau There is nothing to talk about then, as you acknowledge roads serve the entire public because they are needed for the movement of goods, emergency service, mass transit etc if anything drivers are getting screwed by having to pay for mass transit as well.
@EverymanSmith@omgsidewalks No capitalism doesn't do that, it's in fact the opposite. Government is the one that allows the taxpayer to pick up the tab for the "too big to fail" businesses, they are also the ones that control the leavers of affordability, flooding the country with cheap labour etc.
@BernieSanders And you will of course be suggesting that the government pays fair market value for that stake, pay the profits directly to the American people, and appoint someone knowledgeable in tech and AI, to administer it all too right?
