Longtime dev & engineering leader turned co-founder/COO @ RocketRide and addicted to agentic AI. Helping developers navigate the AI transition. Building in SF.
I spent years building software and leading engineering teams. Then agentic AI hit, and I realized the way developers work is about to fundamentally change — and most teams aren't ready. So I co-founded RocketRide to build tools that help developers thrive in the age of AI, not get left behind.
I'll be sharing what I'm learning — about agentic AI, about building a company, about going from "comfortable career" to "what are we doing." Stick around.
I read Neuromancer for the first time a few weeks ago. Reading a 40-year-old novel about AI manipulation while watching AI agents autonomously merge their own pull requests hits different.
First blog post is up. Link below.
@Cryptinflux Running my team of autonomous agents on, yes, a Mac mini. I switch between 3 modes: adding some new capability or improvement, fixing stuff that breaks, and leveraging the great content they’re generating. It’s a viscous cycle.
What about you?

I keep having this conversation with people I care about, not all in tech: family, old friends, people deep in their careers or just out of school.
they're scared of becoming irrelevant. or quietly hoping AI peaks and fades.
my response: your judgment, your domain, your relationships still matter, more than ever. but only if you stay in the loop.
this isn't about replacing what you know. it's a new layer on top of it, and the learning curve is gentler now than it will be in 2 years.
the people making this transition now are still early movers. I'm telling everyone I care about: now is the time.

@AdamSchefter@ZakSNews@KTVU The narrative that California is unsafe is not supported by real data. For example, for 2024 nearly all states with the highest gun deaths per person are those that traditionally vote for less restrictions on guns. CA is #47 on this list at 8.7.
@Jason SFO International terminal had one when it first opened. I wanted to try it but never seemed to have time (it was pre-security). https://t.co/iwxqLbhpAA
@FightinHydrant@KNBR I looked forward to your postgame shows this season (if it was Laskey I skipped it) - so good to have you back. This sucks and makes no sense. Hoping you bounce back somewhere in the Bay Area and continue to cover the Giants and have a radio show. Maybe 95.7 is hiring?
