Greeted one of my colleagues earlier in the Principal’s office biometric (time out na kasi) who happens to be a parent in my previous class advisory. Now that her son is in Grade 12 STEM, I am teaching General Physics I, she mentioned; “Sir idol baya kas akong anak ay.”
“Keep up the good work, Sir JM! Giingnan na tika ana kay maulaw siya muingon nimo. Thank you so much, Sir.” As someone who despises positive comments kay feel nako kaplastikan or whatever, to be honest, that compliment completed my day. Thank you, God.
Sakita kaayo oy. I remember talking to myself last few months ago, “Grabe noh, feeling nako dili nako kaya mawala ka, Alpha. Maunsa ka ha ko?” But now, this so much pain, I just can’t cry. I can’t say goodbye.. not yet. 😭
As someone who's not used on receiving compliments.. cringe jud kaayo. Like usahay maka feel kog lain. Maong maka make face ko or dili ko ka say 'thank you'. Feel nako ulog ulog ra jud tong ila. Yawa. 😆
