If you are among those who think Sharia law is “not an issue in Mississippi,” you’d better think again. You see what’s happening in Dearborn, Michigan. But did you know that in our own capital city, in Mississippi, there is a center for Muslim Culture at the Planetarium in Jackson? Billed by its founders as the first Muslim Museum in America, it includes displays complete with this exhibit (see photo) featuring Muhammed as the “The Messenger and Final Prophet.” I’ll put the link and proof in the comments below.

There is a reason I announced last November I will ban Sharia law in Mississippi on Day One of my administration as your next Governor. There’s a reason I reiterated it again this week. Others have turned a blind eye, a deaf ear.

I see what’s happening. I understand the spiritual battle we are in. I know I’ll be attacked and threatened. But in the strength of the Lord I’m up for this fight, and I won’t back down.

I will defend our Constitution and our Christian values. As your next Governor I will make sure we forever ban Sharia law and its influence in Mississippi.

I will never allow Mississippi to become another Dearborn, Michigan.

Thank you to @Unitedcajunnavy for setting the record straight.

Jackson County law enforcement and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation and I’m confident both will deal with the facts of the case - wherever the facts lead them!

The autopsy from the State Medical Examiner will be completed at the appropriate time. And that may be the next set of facts seen in this case.

Meanwhile, Crump and Sharpton and their ilk don’t care about the facts!
