3 Base Rules for this scheme are: Covered Playside, Covered Backside, or Uncovered
Covered Playside Rule = Flop & Drive
One variation on the 4 Verticals concept is the switch or "Swag". Outside receivers set the landmarks and inside receivers use #1 for a natural rub.
The key here in this look is that the X becomes the adjustor/bender player.

The OG JMO Course: 4 Vertical Passing Game w/Switch Routes & Tags
Our most basic look out of 2 by 2:
X & Z-Work for outside release
Y-Locked seam player
H-Adjustor - at 10 yds, if H can win, stay vertical. If H can't win over the top, flatten out.
https://t.co/cXta5NeZJE
Drive out of 2 x 2
Protection is a half slide.
Tag the basic (Y)
1st player opposite the basic runs the under route
#1 WRs run the torque route (hard deck at 12 yds and make a decision)
Y runs the square cut basic route - if we find a window, stay open

Curl Flat Concept - Man-Beater Variation:
#3: Pipe Route
#2: Punch Route w/emphasis on width
#1: Curl
BS #1: SIN Route & stay on the run
RB: Fast Motion, Swing, or Check Swing
We love this to the Boundary.
