I hope it will help the person I have in mind and anyone else struggling with pain and grief. Believe me, there is hope. #Grief

Yep, hits hard! Being my family’s resident “history nerd”, and also a Vet, I inherited the stack of letters my grandmother & grandfather wrote to each other during WWII. I’m so grateful for them… by reading them, I got to “meet” them as a young woman & mother, and a young husband & father… in love and just wanting to be together again. It made me love & miss them even more, and very grateful for what they endured.

The Vietnam guys were some of the better Officers and especially the best NCO’s I had during my time. Those older Bro’s who’d served in ‘Nam taught me some valuable lessons. They loomed large in our eyes.

I was just getting ready to post about this documentary. Just watched it recently on Amazon Prime, very interesting!! Well worth the time & rental fee. This topic has fascinated me since childhood and watching “In Search Of” back in the 70’s.

@ArtoftheMil See a pro, but if it’s not comfortable & controllable… The point is to be able to use it when faced with a life threatening situation, you’re shaky, palm sweaty… get something you can use accurately in that state of being.

@actionxander One thing I’ve always appreciated about you guys in the nature / wildlife photography game is the level of patience it must require to get these amazing images. I definitely do not possess it.
