Officers and other ranks from the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Special Operations Force have successfully completed a 22-week Basic Counter-Terrorism training program at the Rwanda Military Academy Gako.

The graduation ceremony was presided over by the RDF Army Chief of Staff, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi, on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff, and was attended by  RDF Generals and officers.

The course was designed to strengthen the operational readiness of RDF Special Operations personnel by equipping them with advanced tactical knowledge and practical skills needed to address emerging security threats.
