Protecting the sanctity of land ownership is fundamental to a just society, as such, we are formally addressing the illegal interference and unauthorized developments currently threatening the Taylor
THE RULE OF LAW MUST PREVAIL
Our client, @Ola_Mi___De, has regained liberty after nearly 48 hours of unlawful detention. All parties, including Metro & Castle Limited, its lead counsel Precious Ajuzie, and the police officers involved, must be held accountable.
“Police detain a Man Who Stood Guarantor For A Company's Employee, Refuse Lawyers, Access Or Tell The man’s Offense at Ogombo, Eti-Osa Lagos”
Woman cr!es out
I only stood as a guarantor for the company employee who abandoned his employment. I didn't do anything wrong that warranted my detention for the past 24 hours. I had only gone to the Police Station on their invitation letter sent to my office. I didn't expect the company was laying ambush to arrest me for an alleged offence committed by their own employee. It is so unfortunate that the company didn't reach out personally but through the police to harass, intimidate me. I kept insisting at the Police Station that if the company felt I had breached the contract of guarantee between me and them, they are at liberty to go to court and not use the police to harass me, intimidating me. Unfortunately, it is a lawyer behind all this mess.
A Direct Affront to the Rule of Law
@Platinumandtay1 condemns the unlawful detention of our colleague, @Ola_Mi___De, at Ogombo Police Station.

My colleague is a lawyer.
He stood as a guarantor for a friend at his company.
Now the person he guaranteed for has vanished over financial issues.
And the police? They didn’t investigate, they didn’t invite him, they didn’t care it was a civil matter.
They arrested him, detained him and treated him like a criminal.
All because in Nigeria, standing for someone else has become a trap.
You try to help someone and you end up in a cell for it.
A innocent Nigerian was invited to the Police (Ogombo Police Station) today, being 6th April 2026, being a public holiday, he had nothing to hide so he obliged.
He was detained in the morning & since then till now they’ve refused to tell him the basis arrest.
His lawyers got to the said station and requested to see the DPO, the said DPO refused to see his lawyers.
WHY IS THE DPO HIDING?
She later came out and instructed her officers to walk his lawyers out from the station.

A client once told me “Barrister, make I just beat the guy small. The money go come out.”
That’s how most Nigerians think debt recovery works. They seize cars, they send thugs, they harass the debtor with the police.
But here’s the truth, once you harass someone, you’ve handed them the law. You’re no longer the victim you’re now the criminal.
3 proper ways to recover your money without losing your case:
1. Send a Demand Letter:
That your long WhatsApp threats mean nothing. A lawyer’s letter builds proof and fear.
2. Sue for Breach of Contract:
if they ignore the letter, no need to fight, just file a lawsuit.
3. Want to disgrace them online?
Always talk to a lawyer first because if you say “thief” without evidence, they can sue you for millions. You lose your money and now your peace.
In Nigeria, justice is not about who’s right. It’s about who played the system better.
The Taylor Family has rightfully taken possession of their property today, March 10, 2025 in enforcement of the consent judgment granted in their favour earlier.
This is a reaffirmation that justice delayed is not justice denied!

The Taylor Family has lawfully enforced the consent judgment and taken rightful possession of their property today, March 10, 2025.
The Taylor Family has been the lawful and undisputed owners of a prime parcel of land at Plots 412/420 Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Abule-Egba, Lagos and they have taken back what belongs to them.
This victory reaffirms the power of the law and serves as a precedent for all. Justice has been served.

After years of legal battles, the Taylor Family has finally reclaimed what is rightfully theirs. Today, March 10, 2025, justice was enforced, and the court’s judgment was executed.
The law has spoken, victory belongs to those who stand for their rights.

For over a century, the Taylor family has owned their land in Lagos. In 2019, a Lagos High Court reaffirmed their ownership, ordering the return of the property. Yet, the Lagos State Government seized their ₦8bn property, locked them out, and refused to pay a kobo in compensation.
This is not just a violation of their constitutional right to property under Section 44(1) of the 1999 Constitution, it’s an outright attack on the rule of law.
How can citizens trust the judiciary when court orders are ignored? How can investors feel secure when property rights are trampled with impunity?
It’s time for the Lagos State Government to respect the court’s decision, pay compensation, and restore the Taylor family’s land. Justice delayed is justice denied. @jidesanwoolu
If this injustice goes unaddressed, no one is safe.
