Price gouging at the pump has gotten completely out of hand over the years.

Oil drops, but somehow gas never seems to fall nearly as fast. Then the second oil jumps, the price at the pump shoots up overnight.

Funny how that works.

Americans are getting squeezed every time they fill up while somebody farther up the chain keeps making a killing.

Enough is enough.

It’s time to put a spotlight on the whole system and finally get this under control.

I went through self checkout because there were barely any regular lanes open.

Scanned everything myself.

Bagged everything myself.

Paid.

I get to the door and an employee stops me and asks to see my receipt.

I handed it to him, but I’m standing there thinking... wait a minute.

You trusted me enough to do the cashier’s job, but now you need to check my work before I can leave?

If you don’t trust customers to scan their own stuff, maybe don’t make self checkout half the store.

I’m not mad at the employee. He’s just doing his job.

But somebody needs to explain how I became the cashier and the suspect at the same time.

Oil just touched $92.60 a barrel.

Under Biden, that same crude price meant $3.88 gas and about $4.59 diesel.

Today it’s $4.47 gas and $6.52 diesel.

The pump is being held up on purpose — to kneecap Trump in the midterms and weaken his last two years.

Ever wonder whatever happened to Trump's promise to cap credit card interest at 10 percent?

Here's what happened to it.

Back in January, Trump called for a hard 10 percent cap, at least for a year, to give families buried under 20-plus percent rates some breathing room.

He even got Bernie Sanders and Josh Hawley to write the bill together. When Bernie and MAGA land on the same page, you know the little guy actually had a shot.

Then the banks showed up. The lobby swarmed Capitol Hill, and the bill's been parked in committee ever since. No vote. No cap.

Banks claimed if they are capped at 10% they couldn't offer credit to those with low credit scores.

And people forget, a president can't just snap his fingers and cap rates. It takes Congress. And Congress answered to the banks, not to you.

Trump put it on the table. The swamp sat on it!

The pool system is not about journalism. It is about content monopoly. And the White House just broke the monopoly.

When all five legacy networks ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and Foxsimultaneously suspend pool coverage of a sitting president, that's not a boycott. That's an organized signaling event. And the fact that they did it over the White House revoking access to CNN, MS-NOW, and Politico tells you exactly who's calling the shots.

The media pool isn't walking out to protest press freedom. They're walking out because the White House just severed their operational cover.

What occurred today is not a press freedom protest. It is not a boycott. It is not five separate news organizations independently arriving at the same principled decision within hours of each other. That is statistically impossible, and everyone who has ever worked in media logistics knows it.

What occurred today is a coordinated operational stand-down issued through a backchannel that predates the current administration by decades the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) internal command loop, which has functioned as a de facto intelligence community coordination node since the Cold War era and has never been formally disconnected from Langley's media assets division.

I Need You To Think About This For A Moment

The networks are not walking out to protest press freedom. They are walking out because the White House just demonstrated that it can functionally decouple the presidency from the legacy media distribution pipeline, and if that decoupling holds if the President can reach the American people directly through Starlink-broadcast events, X Spaces, and independent media channels without the pool's intermediation then the legacy networks lose the single asset that has kept them relevant through fifteen years of ratings collapse: exclusive access to the presidency as content.

Something You Should Keep In Mind

The 2020 election fraud was not simply state-level ballot manipulation. The fraud's protective architecture was the media coordination layer. Without ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and Fox actively suppressing stories, redirecting narratives, and manufacturing consensus, the fraud could not have survived public scrutiny for even seven days.

The networks were not passive beneficiaries of the fraud. They were active participants in the cover-up. Specific network executives participated in coordination calls with transition team operatives in November and December 2020. Specific bureau chiefs killed stories that would have exposed irregularities.

The networks know this. They have known it since late 2020. And their behavior since has been consistent with an institutional strategy of perpetual narrative defense: keep the President framed as delegitimized, keep his supporters framed as threats, keep the fraud narrative suppressed, and above all, maintain the pool system so that no administration can ever again bypass the media filter and speak directly to the country.
