@cianmcgloin@Britgirlnuked@PaulGosling1 Maybe despite the training the person still isn't the best person for the job.
I genuinely doubt that a well qualified and competent person can't get employment in the UK / Ireland.
@StayRealrd@SamK_108@PaulGosling1 That's a ridiculous statement.
In one sentence you are talking about every single person in a continent and in the next you are talking about a criminal.
Do you expect people to spend their time having a shouting match with an idiot?
@StayRealrd@arrhythmiarules@PaulGosling1 You cite cheap international Labour filling jobs in NI. Where’s that evidence?
How does that counter the Pivotal report for why young people leave - jobs many migrants hold are not the ones they want. Do you think they go where migrants come from? Waving at you as a 🇺🇸.
@StayRealrd@JamieLukasC@PaulGosling1 Go fill the jobs. If the wages are low support the unions to improve them. Pay your extra for the properly paid social care. Extra for all the to be better paid service jobs you want filled by local people. Campaign over pay, housing & who will pay for it. It's you not immigrants
@StayRealrd@JamieLukasC@PaulGosling1 Or perhaps people who want to work get the job. There are laws about wages and employment rights.
If people are being discriminated against they can take legal action.
@StayRealrd@PaulGosling1 Immigration has nothing to do with why young people leave. Report after report has acknowledged this.
They leave because they fear it is stuck in the past; politically volatile, few prospects for other employment opportunities (not the ones migrants hold). via Pivotal '22
@StayRealrd@PaulGosling1 Well do them. Then there is no problem. No need for violence, no need to intimidate. No need to bully, be so anti social destructive. Accept responsibility. Stop blaming others for what you don't do.
@StayRealrd@GillBark@PaulGosling1 How did you pass an acessnni check with your attitude?
Which jobs are qualified people, with good skills, unable to access?
Most employers are saying that they can't find good staff!
@StayRealrd@PaulGosling1 You had all the opportunity to educate yourselves, but you aren't doing those jobs, you aren't qualified and yet there are shortages.
@StayRealrd@PaulGosling1 Some of those rioters will have difficulty getting a job in the future!
Which qualified people in Northern Ireland can't get jobs in healthcare because of migrants?
Are you really defending racist/sectarian pogroms as a way to get people into employment?
https://t.co/PnUUONzvM7
@StayRealrd How do you expect to staff up the health and social care system? You actually believe the masked rioters on the streets are qualified doctors, nurses and social carers? Are you for real?
@MackemDragon2@BROKENBRITAIN0@MatthewOToole2 I'm fairly sure some of these thugs in the past would have supported the army on the streets in northern Ireland. The army was called in, largely, to protect those being burned out because of politicians whipping up hatred.
@BROKENBRITAIN0@MatthewOToole2 Being angry is absolutely fine. Rampaging through the streets, breaking into houses, setting fire to anything in your way is not.
Hope that helps you.
@BROKENBRITAIN0@MatthewOToole2 YOU stfu..nobody in their right mind is anything, but horrified by the knife attack. That does not excuse attacking innocent people and setting fire to houses with people inside. In fact it carries exactly the same charge of attempted murder, you thick twat.
@BROKENBRITAIN0@MatthewOToole2 Since 2020, 33 women and girls have been violently killed in Northern Ireland. In all but one of these cases, the perpetrator or suspected perpetrator is a man. A majority of the victims were killed in their own homes by a partner, ex-partner, or family member.
@DefundIslam@MatthewOToole2 Perhaps you could try to figure it out.

Just home from dealing with the consequences of tonight's lawlessness.
Perhaps some of the English right wing influencers and local politicians enthusing about these protests would explain to children I met why they have no beds to sleep in tonight.
Utterly disgusted.
Politicians who fanned these flames should hang their heads in shame.
Time and again we've seen this story play out. Single incidents used to fuel a far right narrative - and communities across the nation paying the price.
