Since Rohit Sharma started opening in ODIs in 2013, he has got out 123 times. Of these dismissals, he got out while playing the pull shot 18 times(~15%) which is ashtonishingly high. Below is the list of matches when he got out while playing the pull shot:
@Rajiv1841 generally, there are more more right hand bowlers and batsmen. bowlers are subconsciously more comfortable when bowling to right handed batsmen. the error percentage can slightly go up when bowling to a leftie. Very good players generally take full advantage of these extra errors
@AdishOne1 Its crazy that he has been a very average performer with the bat in IPL but has managed to play 20 playoff matches in 16 seasons. I wonder who has played the most playoff matches in IPL history.
@allxrepost @dlongchu@crazyclipsonly It was to balance out the flow of the water stream. First he went in opposite direction. Then used the stream to reach the end point with maximum speed.
Look at who is talking about spirit of the game. He took 4 free runs in 2019 final after ball hit the bat on the throw. You have to stand by it in all situations, not only when you are on the receiving end. Is it hypocrisy at its peak? #Ashes23#BenStokes#Bairstow#ENGvsAUS
If someone asks me "who is the best batsman?", my answer would not be "Virat Kohli". I would reply "it is the worst question ever asked." #ViratKohli๐ต #INDvPAK#indvspakmatch#t20wc
@sricharannch Every knockout match of the Champions League 2019 were also epic. I would suggest you to watch the highlights of those matches. Even IPL 2019 was great. It was a blast for sports enthusiasts from April to July in 2019.
@PatelRikken To be honest any batsman will struggle in those conditions. Vihari has a bit more experience and does not have his eyes on other formats at the moment. Agarwal, on the other hand, had 1 great year and is now fading away and also has many technical isssues.
@arjunratnakaran Pujara played series defining knocks. Rahane never did. Melbourne 100 is the reason why he is being considered. He averages 29 in England in 11 gameses and 22 in 2021. He is already 33. Time to move on. Rahane is not hard to replace but we can't find another player like Pujara.
