On June 24, we have an agenda item regarding the DEED (Dowtown Event & Entertainment District) and a request from City Administration to enter into negotiations for a partnership with Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. This project was approved by previous Council in 2024 for $1.2B, and it represents a significant amount of investment and change to our downtown core.

I know there is considerable concern over this proposal and the DEED itself. To that end, as this does represent a major part of our city and it is the most expensive investment we have ever done (?), I put together this survey based on the proposed negotiation points and I want your input on this significant item.

Everyone in Saskatoon can participate and at the end I ask which Ward in which you reside so I can have the stats. It will take apporximately 7-10 minutes to complete, and the more people who participate, the more realistic the representation.

I also ask you to share this survey as much as you can as we only have about 5 days to collect the data before the meeting.
