I never imagined I would have to make a post like this, but HCA Princess Grace Hospital is actively disregarding my husband’s medical needs, patient rights, and his clearly expressed wishes.
He is being force-fed a synthetic, inflammatory formula containing known allergens, despite both his explicit refusal and the fact that it is causing severe abdominal pain and contributing to ulcers.
He is being overmedicated, receiving dangerously high doses of labetalol, furosemide, and loxen, which are negatively affecting his breathing, blood pressure, and overall health.
When we try to advocate for him, emails are blocked, concerns are ignored, and doctors dismiss our evidence—even when symptoms are clearly witnessed by nurses and family.
An independent private doctor has reviewed his case and was appalled at the medical negligence taking place. He has advised us to report all physicians involved to the General Medical Council (GMC).
When my husband told the doctor today that he did not want the toxic formula, his wishes were overridden. This is a violation of his basic patient rights.
When I pointed out the link between IV furosemide and his rising blood pressure, the doctor became angry, dismissive, and even sarcastic—suggesting that my speaking was raising his blood pressure. When we raised concerns about unsafe medication practices, they blocked my emails instead of addressing the issue.
This is NOT patient-centred care. This is medical negligence.
HCA Healthcare publicly claims to prioritise patient rights, informed decision-making, and quality care. Their actions tell a very different story.
My husband has explicitly given me permission to expose this and fight for his right to safe, respectful medical care.
If he is not switched to an appropriate whole-food nutritional plan or at least given a swallow test by tomorrow, I will have no choice but to escalate this further—both publicly and legally.
NO patient should have to fight like this for basic respect and proper care.
If you believe in patient rights, informed consent, and medical accountability, please share this. The more people who see it, the harder it becomes for hospitals to hide unethical practices.
