@Bilcro@real_dublindamo Madrid is easy to do and just pop into shade and/or air conditioned museums (or bars!). It's a drier heat too, which i find easier to deal with. Any exciting plans for the weekend?
@Irelandunites@chrisadonnelly They weren’t out protesting when Natalie McNally was brutally murdered in her own home by a white man.The north has the highest levels of DV against women, never heard a peep out of any of you.Violent men are exactly that, men.The colour of their skin doesn’t come in to it
@NiecyOKeeffe Also difene/voltarol gel is good for relieving the 'sharp' pain elements of sciatica. You won't always have it daily but might experience flares of it now and again. Good support shoes help too - not flat shoes- as that tends to trigger it.
@NiecyOKeeffe You poor thing. I've had sciatica and trapped shoulder nerve on and off for years now. I've found a really good physio that works with massage the best thing for it. Also look up NHS (i know, not HSE but the website is better) exercises/physio for sciatica. Really helped.
@Bilcro@real_dublindamo Madrid beats Barca every time. Yes there tourists (us included!) But it's far more than just a tourist destination. Living, breathing, working city. You'll be grand with just a few words of Spanish, even attempting makes madrilianos very happy. And soooo much to see. Enjoy.
@dublin_damo We're looking at houses there. Spent a week there last year and really fell in love with the place. The commute is the only downside, but if we can swing WFH 3 days a week, its doable.
If you think the fucking badass Secret Service of the United States, after keeping the first black president safe for 8 years in office without major incident, has now screwed up royally FOUR TIMES securing Trump?
You’re not real bright.
