I work @accdistrict and together, we work for our community.

—No universal healthcare
—No universal childcare
—No paid family & medical leave
—One of the highest rates of maternal mortality among rich nations

#TXcommunitycolleges are an excellent way to start a career OR retrain for a new one!

We pay close attention to the needs of the #TXworkforce & collaborate with business and industry leaders to ensure our students graduate workforce ready.

That's exactly what I highlight for people in my newsletter!

Community College's create ambitious people such as Walt Disney, George Lucas, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen the first Latina elected into Congress, and even astronauts like Eileen Collins!
