I experienced love bombing last year 😂.
Within the first week of the talking stage, he kept saying he was sure I was his future wife, said he’s never connected with anyone the way he connected with me, complimented me a lot and even spoke to my parents.
I was waking up to handwritten notes and love letters every other day. He’d randomly order me things, pay for stuff and even used my picture as his phone wallpaper. He gave me so much attention that I started wondering if he had a job. He seemed so genuine. So invested. So sure about me.
Then weeks later, I noticed he started to withdraw little by little with the excuse that he was “busy.”
And one random day, he ghosted me 😂. No fight, no issues. I reached out, no response. Two weeks later, I saw a video of him with another woman. He looked perfectly fine.
If it’s too good to be true, it’s because it is too good to be true. With love bombing, the love and affection decreases with time. Genuine interest, on the other hand, grows with time.
