With Democrats in control, our state is being destroyed. Plain and simple. Do they not understand their policies are leading to higher crime, failing schools and impossibly-expensive living conditions?!
What’s happening right now in St. Paul is a DISGRACE.
During the AG campaign, Republican Jim Schultz said he might try to sidestep Mary Moriarty on certain cases, which drew criticisms from DFLers.
Now, even AG Ellison is at odds with Moriarty on this case. Remains to be seen if he will step in. https://t.co/8WRO14QAQD
In October, AG Keith Ellison criticized the idea of taking cases from a county attorney - such as Mary Moriarty - who didn't ask for a handoff. This was as GOP candidate Jim Schultz floated a law change allowing him to sidestep county attorneys.
Here's what he told me:
Colleges Should Be More Than Just Vocational Schools. I agree the humanities should be better supported. But given the repression of opinion in universities, this claim - "learning in many different forms of knowledge teaches the humility necessary to accept other points of view" - seems like a bad joke. https://t.co/IxatzLsDdZ
@BillyM2k@elonmusk@pmarca Kratom reduces social anxiety for a lot of people. Less negative side effects than alcohol, but still has some potential for dependency.
This is so refreshingly honest. The Bad People thought the lab leak might be true, therefore as journalists we couldn't be expected to actually evaluate the evidence for it.
@DeRushaJ I think the real concern is these folks being automatically registered to vote and then someone else uses their registrations in an absentee ballot harvesting operation.
Hard to advocate for upper middle class/rich people on this...I'm all for rich people paying a higher percentage of their income in taxes. But with a $17b surplus, Income-testing the "Walz checks" refunds feels wrong to me. I'm afraid to ask, but how are you thinking about this?
