@rayofoghlu Continue to educate and inform too. There are plenty of farmers out there willing to modify behaviour to facilitate nature, it's just no one has ever joined the dots and explained things too them. Once made aware, they show an interest

@rayofoghlu Yes it can't be emphasised enough. Doing away with the Derogation will not be the environmental win it is portrayed to be. Plenty of offenders out there who were miles of Derogation stocking rate. As you often show Ray. Derogation farmers tend to have enough slurry storage

@rayofoghlu 2/2 This is widely celebrated as a win for the Environment. But the Dairy farmer is now more desperate for land. Doesn't know how to take a step backwards. Offers his neighbour €1000/ha. Way more than the 'environmental payment'

@rayofoghlu 1/2 Hypothetical scenario. The field on the left is in ACRES low input grassland. Scores very well and pays €400/ha. The one on the right is owned by his neighbouring Dairy farmer. He's tight on stocking rate and the EU decides to do away with the Derogation.
