It’s actually crazy how much impact Mainoo is making in what is a sub optimal set up for a player of his characteristics. Stretched games, no control and for a ball player like him where the more touches he would get the better he would look… he’s still making key tackles or key passes and key goals.

It would be horrific if United don’t by the end of his career give him a set up where he can control games and not just hang on with his fingernails trying to pull rabbits out of the hat.

It’s not sustainable pathway to world class status at club level.
