The Arabs didn’t stop slave trade , in fact there are still forms of slavery going on today in the Arab world and in parts of Africa and Asia.

The West, America, the UK , with elements in Europe and Canada stopped slavery.

White people in the US went to war with themselves, killed themselves because some wanted to free slaves and others didn’t. They practically sacrificed their lives for the freedom of slaves who weren’t even white . ( The US Civil War) .
