@Ryanair showing a complete disregard for the impact that breaking a wheelchair has on somebody’s life.

Apparently £1500 is sufficient compensation for breaking a wheelchair worth £8,817 make it make sense.

@Ryanair wheelchairs ARE NOT luggage! And therefore SHOULD NOT take the same processing as luggage! You are affecting my physical health and ability to work! Not to mention taking away my independence! #DisabilityRights

I really didn’t want to have to do this for a second time in my life but with it now affecting my ability to work, I feel I have no choice.

I heard back today regarding my claim. It was denied on the bases of the receipt I provided. This was a receipt that I was advised to provide by citizens advice due to me not being able to afford to pay for the new wheelchair up front for you guys to repay me after.
