Reminds me of high schools that offer "coping with stress" tips for students...while refusing to address the structural causes (grades, competition, homework). It's like a factory that pollutes the air but kindly offers gas masks to nearby residents.

To anyone preparing to try to change how you grade and assess students, be prepared for students to struggle.

They've been held hostage at grade-point for so long that a lot of them have developed a twisted version of Stockholm syndrome with their grades.

Be patient with them.
