Peterborough storm updates, from a municipal press release: The general committee meeting that was scheduled for Monday night has been cancelled, and will be rescheduled.

All Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board schools are closed on Monday too (they state on their website).

In Peterborough: Public Works (705-745-1386) can be called to report downed trees and branches on municipal property.

The line is answered 24/7. It gives you options: you can press 1 if the report is urgent (ie: a tree or branch is obstructing a street or sidewalk), 2 if you want to leave a message (ie: the massive tree branch I just saw fall, in King Edward Park).

Peterborough: To report a downed tree branch or tree on city property, call Public Works at 705-745-1386. The city indicated in a press release that tis line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
