Have you seen the charts where RCs and EOs depict their churches as the one true church, and every other movement as schismatic? Well here you go, fellow Evangelicals. Now we don't have to be chart-shamed anymore. We have our own chart! We are truly the one true church!
@LizzieMarbach It's like it's from another world. And in a sense it is. Roman Catholicism is false too, but at least it makes more sense to a Westerner like me. EOism is false *and* foreign.
@Brosephos I hadn't thought about you or this exchange since it happened, but you have apparently been stewing. Bitterness is a great sin against the Lord, my friend. You are spiraling downward, but Jesus can save you. Turn to Him and be released and set free.
No more attention, now.
This is the challenge with X debates. You can win handily, but instead of the guy changing his mind, he may crow about it in a video as if he won.
Hence, choose your debates wisely. Engage, aim to win, admit defeat if it happens, revise your position if needed, and move on.
Evangelical: You said A was true, but it isn't, and here's why.
Romanist: Sorry, if you think Z isn't true, you have to prove it.
Evangelical: I wasn't talking about Z. I was talking about A.
Romanist: YOU HAVE TO PROVE Z ISN'T TRUE!

@Nahum_2K It's so embarrassing to watch, and yet frustrating too, because it's not like I want this guy to be destroyed. I want him to have the righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit that come from being in the Kingdom of God.
@ByJimbob@Acts17David Local churches (congregations belonging to a common creed and under shared leadership) meet in church buildings (colloquially called churches). To bomb the church building is to bomb the church. Protestants have churches (buildings) and meet as churches (congregations).
@ByJimbob@Acts17David Ah, that's a good point!
"Church" can refer to buildings. I take that back. In fact I refer to my church meeting-house as a building all the time.
@MiscreaRichard@Brosephos Your tweet assumed a terrible heart-motive, then prognosticated an exaggeratedly evil outcome as a result of your made-up prognosis.
I encourage you to focus on the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:1ff. If you don't yet submit to Him as Lord and
@CrushnSerpents@Brosephos ...on the third day. If you repent and put your trust in Him, you will be saved.
Don't perish in your sins. Try to see past the internet noise and hear the call of God to you. Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, believe, and be saved.
@CrushnSerpents@Brosephos ...that you, like I, are a sinner. The wages of sin is death. You, like I, deserve Hell. And that same Bible is clear: there is salvation in no other name than Jesus Christ.
The good news for you is that Jesus Christ died for our sins. He was buried, and He rose to life...
