AI is everything that right wingers pretend immigrants are.
It’s taking your jobs.
It’s draining your resources.
It’s destroying your books, your history, your art and your culture.
Shut down the data centers. All of them.
I'll tell you what it says about this country. that poisonous little biased journos so pumped up by their own inadequacy and self-importance can con large numbers of very stupid people against the most competent PM in decades.
Bugger Burnham & you.
"How on earth have have we ended up in this position?" asks Laura Kuenssberg, who along with Chris Mason, Henry Zeffman and co, have pushed long and hard for us to wind up in exactly this position

I give it three months before we get the “well in hindsight was Starmer really that bad?” analysis from our world-class journalists who have spent the past two years desperate for more psychodrama
If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated.
On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades.
After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced.
We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...
It doesn't seem like there's much point paying attention who is prime minister of Great Britain these days. They get in, the public decides they're history's greatest monster, and they're forced from office within a year or two. None of these people are really "leaders" anymore.
Contrary to claims that Britain should either a) join in the war (a claim now rare to see) or b) make a grand Spain-style rupture, I’m not sure there’s a better path than this vaguely passive aggressive quiet quitting. Sometimes not doing anything really is the best option.
Centrist Democrats in the 90s were the greatest form of government we have experienced.
-Budget surpluses
-Staunchly capitalist
-Strong border
-Merit-based legal immigration
-Strong military
-Sensible on social issues
It’s a shame how progressives and socialists dragged the party to the left to the ruinous place they are now. And their extremism pushes the right to be more extreme too.
