@JesseLonis Thanks for the heads up. This is why banks have standards for loans. Why do poker players offer money with no contract and little due diligence? I am not trying to be difficult. Just curious?
@JoshuaArieh I don’t like it. It blocks walkways for weeks and driving is a nightmare. I feel bad for local businesses who are affected too. I find it hard to believe that the massive infrastructure set up and removal process is worth it.
@tunguz America is an awesome country for sure in terms of opportunity, resources, quality products and freedom. Canada offers the world many natural resources that are required for growth. Example, potash (fertilizer) and oil to name a few. Don’t forget hockey, movie 🍿 stars
@Protentialmn Tournaments are an energy and bankroll drain for sure. But they offer huge payouts for the fortunate few. I think the juice is worth the squeeze.
@ChancesCards Attitude determines altitude! It’s all about how you frame the situation. That’s often the difference between average snd very successful people. Reframing applies to all aspects of one’s life.
@ChancesCards This could apply to any profession actually. The difference is with value creation. Is your profession fulfilling beyond the money? Passion and money are drivers towards happiness, but social acceptance is key to that equation too.
@msalsberg Good question. I feel if people try to correlate their results in MTTs to their own value or self esteem…there could be a challenge given the stats and realities of the game. This is based on the current payout structure of only the top 3-5 people making the bulk of prize $
@piyushmittal This is a great depiction. So true. Both parties promote tariffs. What is a better way to manage price dumping or strategic interests then? Is there a consensus?
You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable!
