Chart of the day! $SOX closed at 12,048 yesterday, above its 21-day #EMA for the third straight day (light blue line). This had been a previous resistance level since early July (notice the failed attempts to settle above). #RSI appears to have bottomed out on July 29th with the corresponding low print of 10,447. Bulls will want to see #RSI get back above 50. #ADX is showing a strengthening uptrend which could be confirmed with a move above 25. Not a recommendation. @SchwabNetwork @SchwabTrading

Super Micro Computer ($SMCI + $5.90 to $31.40) shares are up more than 20% today after the company issued a business update that raised its fourth-quarter gross margin outlook and highlighted record backlog. Per Bloomberg, Super Micro now expects GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins of 15% to 17%, significantly above its initial guidance of 8.2% to 8.4%.
The company also reported record backlog at the end of fiscal 2026, with more than $60 billion in new orders received during the fourth quarter and expected to be delivered over future quarters. Revenue guidance remains in line with Wall Street estimates, with the company forecasting $11.0 billion to $12.5 billion versus consensus expectations of $11.7 billion.

Shares jumped above the 21-day #EMA on higher-than-average volume. Option trading currently stands at 299,257 contracts, 18x average with calls outpacing puts 6:1. Not a recommendation. @SchwabNetwork @SchwabTrading

$MU with a nice 10% bounce back today after recent BofA upgrade that is pushing shares back to intersection of 21-day EMA and 50-day MA. Bulls will want to see a close above those levels in next few days. #RSI is improving, near 50, while #ADX shows more trendless, sideways action.
