A tribute to Jack Adams ❤️ 👏🏻
Players, Coaches, Medical Staff all sharing in a tribute to Jack Adams at training last night, a fantastic member of Cinderford RFC during his tenure at the club, and a close friend to many of our current players and coaches 🦌
Todays focus was oil pollution and how devastating it can be. The children had 3 different materials to try clean up the pollution, which they evaluated after as to which worked best. We used feathers to represent the effect that oil had on wildlife. 🌏🦦🌊

Today we were ‘Finding a half’ the children were given different items of food, which they had to share equally into 2 parts between themselves and their partner. 🍓🧁
Our theme for Guided Reading this week has been rainbows. Today to end the unit we created our own rainbows and discussed how they made us feel.
Fun fact: rainbows aren’t arches they are actually a circle, but we only see the arch from the ground🌈
Yesterday we took advantage of the sun and took our lesson outside- children were drawing their own shapes and measuring the perimeters in ‘cm’ then they went round the playground measuring shapes in ‘cm & m’. ⭐️🌳
Our first day back was based around ‘Leon In The Place Between’ By Grahame Baker-Smith. The fun atmosphere meant the children could leave all their worries at the door, creating pure joy and excitement. We focussed on group work throughout the day;which they all loved and needed.
