@Sentletse My understanding is that the fight is not against the countries you mentioned. The discomfort expressed by South Africans, rightly or wrongly is against undocumented migrants. The central message is "go home get proper documents and come back legally". I find that reasonable.

The other option is humiliation, a sullied image and a legacy that will be shrouded in controversy. As the saying; some things are better left unsaid and besides what we do not know will not embarrass us.
