Admittedly, it's unusual to use a story we didn't publish as a reason people should subscribe to KentOnline Premium, but hopefully readers will understand the logic here https://t.co/H9OiL5dhj2
In the week of the @RegPressAwards, a post about the industry on LinkedIn has irritated me so much I have been moved to reactivate my long-neglected blog.

Really pleased with this development and glad Iliffe will be playing a part in helping to train the next generation of journalists. @kmtv_kent has been involved in some fantastic projects going far beyond our original vision for the channel.
It's been a year since we launched a (very loose) paywall on @Kent_Online
Things have gone pretty well, rounded off by winning Regional Website of the Year at last week's @pressgazette awards. There's a great team behind the site - this video introduces some of them.

We're really proud to announce that all of the county's MPs have committed to supporting the @Kent_Online Blue Badge campaign. Together, I am sure we'll make a difference. Special thanks to @HelenGrantMP and @TrisOsborneMP for their hard work so far 👇

If you haven't seen many @Kent_Online stories on Facebook lately, this is the reason.
Thanks to @pressgazette for helping us resolve the issue but serious questions remain for Meta about how it intends to avoid others falling into the same trap.

I spoke today on the cross-party @Kent_Online Blue Badge Campaign which is securing support of Kent MPs including @ThreshedThought@HelenGrantMP

Disappointing to see @TheSun ripping off a court case which only @Kent_Online sent a reporter to.
It makes a mockery of the industry arguing via the @newsmediaorg for copyright protection and fair recompense from social platforms when the nationals act like this.
ABC initially refused to release the report, saying the rating had been uploaded to the Food Standards Agency website in error. But almost six weeks later, we were finally sent it as we continued to push for the findings as concerned readers got in touch about the rating.

Much-deserved recognition for @BowlesMbowles at the Regional Press Awards. @MaxChesson also doing well to make a strong shortlist in the young journalist category. 👇

This excellent @Kent_Online exclusive by @Ollie_Leonard today is a great example of power being held to account, shining a light on the staggering sums of taxpayers' money spent on a divisive development without a brick ever being laid. Journalism worth paying for. 👇
It's been an extremely difficult and unsettling few months for @Kent_Online reporter @pallant_james, who in October was told he had an incurable disease. He's chosen to tell his story in this incredibly candid - and brilliantly written - piece in the hope it will help others.👇
