@GailSimone I'm not the target demo for this game, but my kid got into to it so I followed her lead. Then my partner got into it. The kid quit long ago but my partner and I are still playing it pretty much daily. Genshin Impact is an amazing anime open world game. Incredible music and cute.

@gibsoncat9 @apearlma @GailSimone As a copy machine, even one that is amalgamating different pieces it is stealing from produced works, it will never be able to copy human imagination sufficiently to replace the best of sequential art storytelling. Humans will always be better at that.

@gibsoncat9 @apearlma @GailSimone I don't think it can ever match the storytelling that comes from an artist with decades of experience and mastery. And it certainly won't even come close without all the art theft currently going on.
