@NextIcarus @CrystalHope1979 @GuntherEagleman My dad was like the guys in the top picture, served his country for 24-years as a soldier and another 20-years after retirement. I'm very proud of him. This new military is a travesty and is incredibly heartbreaking.

The world would be a happier place if we could discuss our positions on things (like politics, etc.) without a disrespectful argument breaking out, causing the destruction of families and friendships.

It's wrong to destroy the property of others, and another offense if trespassing was involved as well. I think that most people leave others' things alone. Perhaps they're wondering why heterosexuals don't fly their flag too.? I couldn't say.

It is outrageous that anyone in this country, citizen or not, would even want to burn our beautiful flag. If it isn't a crime, it should be. Perhaps we, the taxpayers, could afford a one-way ticket to the country they support and feel proud of.
