#UgandaAt64
As Uganda marks 64 years of independence, we must ask ourselves a difficult question: independence for whom, and to what end? 64 years later, can an ordinary Ugandan live with dignity, speak without fear, access justice, find decent work and hold those in power accountable?
It’s NOT YET UHURU ✍️
Simple description of Uganda at 64: a sad truth, yes, and this is the reality we find ourselves in. What a shame to be born under such ugly, dictatorial administration. Yet, amidst all these challenges, we continue to strive, remain hopeful, and stand proud of our country. Uganda is bigger than its leadership, and despite the struggles we face, our love for our nation remains unshaken.
I LOVE YOU MAAMA UGANDA 🇺🇬 THE PEARL OF AFRICA ✊🏾
Happy independence eyaawa nga bwooyogerako bakukima nga mubbi wankonko?

KOMANYOKO!
Oh Sam, seeing your limbs broken has me feeling broken beyond belief.
I’ve been replaying all our dancing and walking sessions. I kept wishing I had documented more of those moments.
You always told me to stay strong but the state you’re in has broken me. You’re in my prayers💙
