For those who claim they had no idea the amount of rare earth minerals that lie in kenya,especially on the coastal region heres a Small briefing.

You first need to understand what rare earth are,they are metallic elements naturally formed in the ground and are used in modern technology ie. Electric vehicles,Electronics and military defense systems. They are not called rare because they are rare but because they are hard to extract. They are found in small quantities

Now, During a Mineral Research done 2012 in Mrima hills by jacob jumas company Cortec,The mineral Niobium was discovered there whose estimated worth was 65Billion USD. That was in 2012 ni mrima hills kwale county

During another Research in done 2014 the same location,The estimated worth rose to 100Billion USD.

During another Exploration in the same year 2014 december,The number rose to 250Billion USD. The reason it moved from 62billion to 100B to 250B is because they discovered there were other minerals,not just Niobium. The exploration revealed other minerals like Tantalum,Titanium,Ziconium,Uranium and Manganesse. This whole exploration research done by cortec,costed 12 billion shillings.

250billion USD is close to 33Trillion kenya shillings.

As of the recent months,there has been reports Global Powers like china,Australia,US and probably russia have been eyeing these minerals in mrima hill. Especially china,this could be our ticket out of poverty if a well calculated deal is made between us and foreigners who have the resources to exploit these resources.

Unfortunately,this will not happen. Because on 31st November 2015,Jacob juma said William Ruto is going to steal mrima hill Niobium. Who is the president now?
