Join us in wishing Drs. Bheeshma Ravi (University of Toronto) and Prism Schneider (University of Calgary) a safe and successful tour as they embark on the ABC travelling fellowship this week. Together with a cohort of five ABC fellows from the United States, they will visit orthopaedic centres in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. We congratulate them once again and thank them for representing the COA and Canadian orthopaedics through this fellowship experience. Follow them along their tour through the ABC Travelling Fellowship Blog.
A huge thank you to @smithnephew for hosting the first Canadian fellows arthroscopy course! It was a pleasure to work with an all-star faculty! Drs Ivan Wong @SportMedMD, @KopkaMichaela , Thierry Pauyo, Brendan Sheehan and Ujash Sheth. A special thanks to my friend Doug Naudie
Excited to have placed our first #Cartiheal implant. This implant brings the potential for #jointrestoration to a segment of our patient population for which we previously had very limited options. #cartilage
Amazing opportunity for early career surgeons w/ leadership aspirations. Unparalleled access to learn from giants in ๐จ๐ฆ ๐บ๐ธ ortho leadership. Major networking exposure & meet life long friends/colleagues. May seem hard to take a month off early practice but DEFINITELY worth it!

๐ฏ! Solid predictable length and strength graft. Metal screws are easy to remove, bone tunnels heal in so no osteolysisโฆ..only down side is there isnโt an ipsilateral BPTB to use for the revision!
11 year follow up on BPTB acl with metal screws. No better graft in patient that does level 1 sports year round. No lysis and easy single stage revision if required. Why change after 30 years๐ณ๐ณ
