What is the truth about the ECHR and the small boats crisis? Well according to Dominic Cummings it’s been made very clear to politicians in both recent flavours of government that the boats cannot easily be stopped without exiting the ECHR. But Johnson, Sunak, Starmer and Burnham were/are all unwilling to do what is necessary. As for all the bedwetters bleating about the U.K. having its human rights removed if we leave…..stop talking such utter crap. 75% of the world are not in the ECHR and may of those have human rights the equal of ours….and in any case, those now promising to leave such as Reform, Restore and even the Conservatives are all discussing its replacement with a British bill of rights anyway.
