One thing about me is im not gonna be up somebodies ass bc they gifted me subs or donated money. I appreciate it a ton, but if you disrespect me or what I do imma speak up even if it hurts your feelings respectfully. I worked very hard to be in the position I am in and still working my ass off so in a couple of years I can live instead of work and still get paid 😝 so don’t ever come at my work ethic or what I’m doing because trust me you have no idea wtf I got going on. I’m good regardless it’s just a grind until I get there.
You got players in the NFL RIGHT NOW who have domestic violence cases and multiple DUI’s. But apparently Caleb Williams painting his nails is sending the “wrong message” to kids. Y’all got it fam.
this era of Sixers basketball has been fun bc we've watched them lose in some of the most painful ways possible while also seeing all of our direct rivals end their own long title droughts

In 1998, I was fired from my corporate job while 9 months pregnant because and I quote, “my priorities would be elsewhere after the baby is born.”
The lawyer I hired told me I didn’t have a case because discrimination like “that” was almost impossible to prove.
So I got pissed.
Took the LSAT. Went to law school. Passed the bar. Had 3 more kids.
Twelve years later, another woman from that same company was fired for the same reason. She sued them for a million dollars, and won, partly because I had kept every piece of evidence from what happened to me years prior demonstrating a systemic pattern of discrimination against women.
That company no longer exists. My law practice is thriving. And that baby they said would derail my priorities? She’s a brilliant attorney now working at my firm.
Turns out my priorities were indeed, elsewhere.
Not to sound geriatric but...you know what i miss?
Turning something on and it just works.
No account setup. No app download. No QR code. No "sign in to continue".
Just plug it in and it does the thing its supposed to do.
So in less than 24 hours since the Canes swept the Flyers:
• Rick Tocchet spotted out drinking at Barstool on Sansom
• The entire Flyers team rolled up to the Phils’ Mother’s Day game
• Jamie Drysdale shaved his playoff beard
Fair lmao. Enjoy a well deserved break gents 👏🏼
The video game industry is lobbying against Stop Killing Games
California is considering a new law called AB 1921, also known as the Protect Our Games Act.
If passed, the bill would apply to paid digital games sold after January 1, 2027.
It requires that if a company shuts down the online services needed to play the game normally, it must give players 60 days' notice and either release a patch so the game can still be played or offer buyers a full refund.
The bill does not require companies to keep servers running forever. It simply prevents them from making a game unplayable without warning or a solution for those who already paid for it.
The Entertainment Software Association, the main group representing video game companies in the United States, is lobbying against the bill.
Their arguments are basically the usual ones:
>games are licensed, not owned
>online services are complicated
>third-party licenses expire
>security risks exist
>this could be hard or expensive to enforce
Supporters of the bill, including the Stop Killing Games campaign, say this is basic customer protection because when you buy a game, it should not suddenly stop working with no remedy.
The bill gives companies clear options and applies only to future games. A hearing is scheduled for this Thursday in the California Assembly Appropriations Committee.
If you are part of an organization in the United States, especially in California, you can submit a letter of support to the committee. This is an important step for better rights for players who buy digital games.
kim kardashian failing the bar exam so many times that she gives up on being a lawyer is making me realize the american bar association might just be one of like three remaining institutions in the us that won't just roll over and give the exorbitantly wealthy whatever they want
Texted my friend who works in a high level position in a MLB front office to ask him if he had any insight into why Trevor Bauer isn’t getting any traction in the MLB again. This is his verbatim response, copied and pasted with permission:
“No interest in him for yrs. PR nightmare, players don’t want him around, control freak and a diva, wants special treatment. League minimum talk on X is a desperation play for clicks, eyeballs. Every scouting dept monitors NPB, MEX. Velo+spin down, control diminishing. Workout programs took backseat to YouTube career, shows on field. Doesn’t have the stuff to make a 40man, wouldn’t make our LowA roster. Would be shocked if he ever gets even a minor league deal again. Def won’t with us, friends in other offices say same.”
Nature is healing. 🥰🥰🥰
Fun Josh Harris memory is when after WAS beat DET in the playoffs the media spent the next week glazing him and ran a bunch of stories about how he helped change the culture of that franchise. Then the Eagles kicked the living shit out of his team and they went 5-12 the next year
3 years ago today on Dynamite, Christian Cage cut one of the most scathing and ruthless promos of his AEW run against Wardlow and Arn Anderson.
The nuclear heat Christian got here from the Detroit crowd was insane.
It was so hard to be a Flyers fan for the past few years. This team was always my #1 team in the city for the majority of my life, but had to tune them out at some point.
This year finally brought back that love for Flyers hockey that I needed. Grateful for that
