my mother cooked him a steak and for one last walk with my best friend and we returned he feasted and we brought him to the vet and he died peacefully in arms without pain, we bought him home and I put him to rest I can't explain the loss I feel

It breaks my heart to say that today I put my best friend of 12 years to sleep. He was dying in front of my eyes. I had to be cruel to be kind, so I told my family it was time everyone of them showed up to say goodbye. He was my best friend so I dug his grave by myself
