A new thought…A highly produced and investable combined tier 1 of the sport with a goal of driving revenues that can fund player development. Here’s the “At a glance” of the plan…
The most successful sports leagues own their player pipelines, they take it upon themselves to get the most out of their athletes. Ratios of coaches to players in these sports ranging from 1:2 to 1:6 or more…
Tennis ratios are backwards, 4:1, 6:1…OK if you’re a top player and can fund that but not possible for the majority of players…
What if professional tennis could afford to offer this to its rising athletes via regionally based training centers where the sport can take advantage of scale and provide 1:4 type ratio coaching, including tennis, physical, mental, nutritional, etc.?
This is the core of Professional Tennis League, a concept tour. Much more to the program and happy to share…
I believe a progressive packaging and promotion of the sport’s tier 1 product can drive exponentially greater returns than currently modeled (and projected) and reinvested in ways to position tennis at the top of the sports marketplace…
Let’s make sure we don’t leave any Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff level players and personalities stranded on the roadside because they ran out of gas financially and physically.
@pavyg Was the time between points 10 mins or he was tended to for 10 mins? By rule he can be treated for three minutes after evaluation and walking off court to wherever he was treated. Then of course he’d be allotted the time to walk back to the court and get ready to play..
Banger of a session with the lads n lady, drilling down on digits of all sorts that impact tennis. Slams shorting player coffers, college football bullying tennis for milk money, Ginger v the field…Who’s got it right, who’s got it wrong? WANTED: Your thoughts. Holler! @BreakingBack_@normarcher

@BillAckman@NickKyrgios@X@JackSock@TennisHalloFame The Hall of Fame is an amazing place to roam the exhibits, halls and venue for a day for a tennis fan. And the members are incredibly welcoming to their group gatherings they have throughout club. A must-visit.
Initial release announcing launch of @intennsetennis tennis went live yesterday. Dynamic follow up from CEO Charles Allen here. The hype is very real…

Can take it further and assign a couple courts for featured mixed matches and produce them with innovative interactive activities, promos and brand partnerships. Go NCAAs with it. Turn it into an asset like they’re trying to do but retain traditional tennis value rather than going full Ringling Brothers.
@daniel_tanguay@Served_Podcast@usopen Interesting. Seems to tend to top issues - Keeping dubs players in the mix, creates opps for marketable singles players to play, the main draw event is contested during actual tourney week, traditional scoring to determine a Grand Slam champ. Cool.
@BastienFachan As an umpire he adds a sense of theater and elevated experience IMO but TK is so spot on, he almost comes across as a movie director rather than just saying the score. “And ACTION! You lose your serve.” 😂
