When Benchers took the LSO's important government relations work seriously, they helped the profession win on issues such as contingency fees. Coalition candidate and former Bencher John Callaghan outlines more...
Bencher election voting starts tomorrow.
For those (like me) who oppose Stop SOP / Full Stop and everything they stand for, the 2019 election is often discussed as a worst case scenario. But the reality is that 2023 could be worse.

I am grateful for Larry's trust in me and the other members of the @BGG_Coalition to "effect change in Convocation" and "work hard and effectively in the governance of the profession in the public interest." Vote BGGC to return competent, representative leadership to the LSO!

The @LawSocietyLSO Voting Guide is out. Have a look at the members of the @BGG_Coalition. One common theme is enhancing competence through mentorship, a properly funded library system, technology, continuing education and wellness supports.
Please support all of these experienced and competent Bencher candidates. I feel honoured to be among such rockstar lawyers and paralegals. @BGG_Coalition. Voting begins April 19th!
