down in conditions like this rather than force a trade

About losses

I post every signal publicly, as it happens. Nothing gets deleted, cherry-picked or posted after the fact. That’s hundreds of trades a week, in real time.

No system that trades this often wins every trade. A losing trade doesn’t mean something’s broken. It’s the cost of taking the trades that win.

I test every idea to cut losses against months of real trade history. Some ideas make it into the system, and many get thrown out. The pattern is consistent: once you try to filter out the last few losers, you start removing winners too. The win rate barely moves and the money drops.

So the goal isn’t perfection. It’s an edge: a high win rate, losses kept small with fixed stops, and profit over hundreds of trades, not one. I review every loss and keep fine-tuning, every day.

If you want to judge the system, look at the full record, not a single trade.

[Watch John's Crypto Trades @JohnCallsCrypto]

Appreciate you following along. Every trade I post is public, wins and losses, and that’s hundreds of trades a week. At that volume, losses are part of trading. I work every day to reduce them, but after months of backtesting the result is always the same: filters that remove the last few losses also remove good trades, and the system ends up making less. My job isn’t zero losses. It’s a high win rate that makes money over time, and every result stays on the record.

🚪 ENTRY WINDOW — 45 MINUTES from this post
Stale after 19:46 UTC on 08 Oct. Do not take it late —
the trigger was the moment, not the day.

🔒 HOW I MANAGE IT
At 14.070 I move my stop up to 14.180 — from
there this trade cannot cost me anything.
I trail winners instead of banking at the target — the target
is where my trailing STARTS, not where I get out.
⚠️ My stop is the outer limit, not a promise. A gap can fill
worse than the number.
This is my own trade, posted as a journal. Educational only,
not financial advice.

⏱️ MAX HOLD — 24 HOURS from this post
If it has not stopped or trailed out by 19:01 UTC on 09 Oct,
we close it and post the result anyway.
This is how long WE hold it. NOT an entry window — see above.
