Our Big Give Christmas Challenge is now live. This year we aim to raise £100,000 in one week. Every donation is worth double to the Shewsy thanks to the generosity of our pledgers. Please donate if you are able

During the #BigGiveChristmas Challenge, we'll also be hearing from staff and pupils at The Shewsy to talk about how much the fundraising means to them and the youth club.
Here is The Shewsy's Senior Youth Work Leader John Dumbell to tell us more.

H’s thought for November: Remembrance Day is not about going back and living in the past. It’s about bringing the warnings and lessons from the past into our present and future: the waste of war and the importance of working for peace.

Great night in club diverting 60+ young always from ASB on missy night. We had manicures, Reiki and Rica with her fantastic DJ skills. We also had football, Fifa comps, cake making and Pizza for all. @MerseysidePCC #peoplemattermorethanthings

BLACK DESTROYER!-
The late Earnie Shavers details his Deep South early beginnings in 1950’s Garland, Alabama. Also reliving the climax to the biggest event of his career, facing Ali for the title in 1977. He thought he had him but for that legendary recuperation!

If anyone can donate any food to @TheFlorrie we are running pretty low and it would be massively appreciated. We hate telling people who come along that there is nothing left. So please please. If you can. Please donate.

[Johnd1982 @Johnd0001]

@lpoolcouncil get this sorted or give the space to @FOEP10 to manage. This area is much needed for a safe space for our community to socialise outdoors in an increasingly popular area of Everton Park

[Shrewsbury House Youth & Community Centre @TheShewsy]

We are disappointed that China Street Play Area remains shut by the council. The play area was used by hundreds of children each week as well as The Shewsy @FaithPrimary and Milstead Special School daily. We need our local play area opened immediately @LivEchonews @lpoolcouncil

[Shrewsbury House Youth & Community Centre @TheShewsy]

An amazing start to the week! #peoplemattermorethanthings
