It is being reported that Spanish Forward Izan Almansa has committed to Gonzaga for the 2026-2027 season

The 6-10 20-year old has been averaging 5 PPG, 2.3 RPG for Real Madrid in just 9 minutes per game this season

Izan was star in Fiba competitions during the 2022 and 2023 summers winning the MVP's in both the U19 & U17 WC's and the U18 EuroBasket MVP.

Izan averaged 15.8 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 1.7 APG in 28 FIBA youth games, while also playing in the NBL, G-league and summer league.
