@perks_8@James_ChronNTFC Agree with that too, but every team uses blockers at corners, either on keepers or attacking runners. What should be a free kick for those is a whole conversation in itself.
@TheAthleticFC@SkySportsPL 2/2 Silva was inside from the corner when he blocked the keeper coming for the ball. Whether that should be penalised for obstruction is a different debate, but every team uses that tactic…
@TheAthleticFC@SkySportsPL 1/2 Silva is only in an offside position when Stones heads the ball. The decision on if he is interfering has to be based on the actions from the header onwards - when he is not in contact or in the eye line of the keeper, so not offside.
@SkySportsNews I assume we’ll see Ten Haag’s sides refuse to take a corner when the opposition face a similar situation? Or will he believe that they are responsible for choosing to substitute or play with 10?
@Tallish_LH @Eyeswideopen69 Feels like what you have is an example of UK business’ definition of productivity. Less people being more ‘flexible’ - while they struggle to just care or be a good at work for 50 hours a week as when they used to work a more balanced 37.5.
@PaulaVennells1 - extraordinary. Management 101 teaches the difference between experts, counsel and executives. Executives do not delegate accountability to expert or counsel opinion, certainly not with the risk levels associated with Horizon. #PostOfficeInquiry
@bhx_official 15 minutes on the tarmac in a plane because buses weren’t ready to go to the terminal. Is it busy? Surprise number of planes landing at midnight?
@SkySportsNews Highlights the arrogance of PGMOL. The changes they’ve made to ‘protocols’ already exist in cricket and rugby. Anyone with sense would surely have learnt from other sports experiences when setting up systems - apparently not PGMOL. They know what’s best.
Important to underline @EnglandRugby and @RFU contribution to #Farrell decision. They decided to appeal on the basis that it should not be a red card. They could have set an example and accepted the red card and discussed length of ban. If they had, red card would have stood.
This weekend marks the 5th anniversary of the terribly sad passing of former Chairman James Madley. All of our players and officials will wear a black armband in memory of James and in support of his family.
Forever missed - we hope we are all doing you proud Madders.

@virginmedia It’s not the conduct of the individual. They just receive the next call on their headset. Unless their system or supervisor allows them to record a reaction, nothing can change. This is @virginmedia’ choice. It is @virginmedia that is unprofessional. Time to move on I think.

@virginmedia@Ofcom I’ve had these calls from this number claiming to be VirginMedia. I told them I was not prepared to answer a cold call in the first one. Regardless of what …
@virginmedia I don’t want ‘no’ calls. I am open to professional, courteous sales calls. I am just not going to give personal information to a cold caller. If that causes a professional sales team an issue, I expect they can log that on their system and respond. Not try again 5 times!!
