@thsottiaux Tibo, one of your biggest selling points that drove the majority of us from Claude to ChatGPT was actually because of this. You should remember that when this was announced, in the space of 2 weeks, you know how many millions of users you gained from then till now.

If you do this, trust me, they will switch from ChatGPT again, and even the so-called "casual and new users" you mentioned will leave again. And calling them such a name is disrespectful to all these customers who are paying their huge dollars monthly. To you, it might be small and little, but to a lot of people, this is a high cost, especially in many countries. Not all users are from the UK or US. You have Indians, Nigerians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Indonesians, Filipinos, Kenyans, Ghanaians, and many more. That $20 is not a small amount of money to them at all.

If you take this off, just know that whatever frustrations people start tweeting about not being able to use their subscriptions again will fly faster, and a lot more of those millions of users that took you from 4M to more than 10M in that space would significantly switch back again and leave.

Remember how your users skyrocketed within that space, and now remember what will happen if you deny them that again. The same way they tweeted about ChatGPT being the best is the same way they will start saying, "ChatGPT sucks, and I can't get anything done again." Think about what that kind of tweet will cause
