@anasalhajji Nothing more than promotional messaging by Trump and it doesn’t mean immediate lower gas prices at the pump nor that taxpayers won’t be hit with the hidden costs within the deal.
For the record.
In Israel, there is no option for civil marriage or divorce through a government authority. Instead, all personal family matters—like getting married, divorcing, and handling related issues like custody—are controlled entirely by traditional religious courts for each recognized faith (such as Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Druze communities).
For Jewish women, this system creates a severe challenge known as the agunah ("chained woman") problem:
Religious Law Requirement: To get a Jewish divorce, the husband must voluntarily give his wife a official religious document called a get.
Consequences of Refusal: If a husband refuses to grant the divorce or goes missing, the wife remains legally trapped. She cannot remarry under religious law, and any children she has with a future partner are considered illegitimate (mamzerim), facing severe social and religious restrictions.
Systemic Inequality: While the all-male religious courts have the authority to punish non-compliant husbands—using penalties like travel bans, revoking driver's licenses, or imprisonment—they cannot issue the divorce directly, leaving final control in the husband's hands.
Half a tablespoon of olive oil a day. That’s it.
Not a supplement. Not a $80 “brain tonic.” Just the stuff you drizzle on tomatoes.
A 2024 Harvard study followed 92,000 people for 28 years. Those who ate more than 7 grams of olive oil a day — about half a tablespoon — had a 28% lower risk of dying from dementia than people who almost never used it. And no, it wasn’t just because they already ate “healthy.” The link held even after researchers accounted for overall diet quality.
Same kitchen staple already has a resume:
Heart: extra-virgin olive oil is a star of the Mediterranean diet. Big trials found fewer heart attacks and strokes when people used it as their main fat.
Inflammation: good EVOO has polyphenols, including oleocanthal — the compound that makes your throat tingle. This is how you know it’s a good olive oil.
Metabolism: better cholesterol profile, happier blood vessels, less oxidized LDL.
*Important fine print, because science is not a smoothie ad: this was an observational study. It does not prove olive oil prevents dementia.
The science keeps pouring in. It is one of the simplest food swaps we have, with unusually consistent evidence.
Tip: buy extra virgin. If it tastes like nothing, it probably does nothing special. Choose one that leaves you with a peppery feeling in the back of your throat. Swap for butter, margarine, and mayo. Cook with it. Finish salads with it.
Your heart likes it. ❤️ Your brain does too. Your food definitely will.
@ClonesCyclone Moses is a fast, powerful southpaw with a big speed and youth advantage over the 34 year old.
Moses speed and explosiveness will be the real difference as to why he wins this fight.
@GadSaad This particular video is staged production of an “injured” person. The added narrative about an Israeli beating and a UN cameraman is unverified speculation layered on top of it.
What Mark fails to mention.
Rejecting rabbinic Judaism is not the same as rejecting the Bible or Jesus.
Christianity and rabbinic Judaism are sibling traditions that both grew out of Second Temple Judaism after 70 CE. Jesus was Jewish, the Old Testament is shared, but the New Testament interpretation is not. Shared roots do not equal identical religions.
@DIAS My father was introduced to my mother by my mothers brothers and they arranged her marriage. My mother god bless her always told me that arranged marriages have a lower divorce rate … I wonder why😊
@adamcarolla Chauvin had his knee on a handcuffed Floyd for 9 minutes with Floyd begging for a breath. Did Floyd pose any threat to Chauvin or anyone else? There is no sacrifice to mob here mate.
My thoughts.
Is this a slap in the face to real victims of violent rape?
When an alleged extra butt slap and acts beyond what was agreed in a paid stripper party get framed as multiple sexual assaults incredibly traumatic, and career-ending sanctions, before any charges are laid then the answer is yes.
Consent still matters. Sex workers can set limits. Crossing them is still wrong.
But collapsing every commercial boundary dispute into the language of the worst crimes committed is wrong.
Where is the presumption of innocence until proven guilty?
No charges laid to date.
